One of the earliest histories of the Battle of Belleau Wood, this account by a Captain in the French Army, provides a brief, day-by-day account of the actions of the 2nd and 26th Divisions in the taking of Belleau Wood and surrounding village. Also provided is a brief history of the 1923 dedication ceremony of the American Aisne-Marne Cemetery at the foot of Belleau Wood, at which Marshal Foch and General Harbord were present.

SCARCE. This pamphlet was reprinted a few years ago by the the Brass Hat. This, however, is a copy of the original edition.
