Pvt JOSEPH P. BILLITZ, USMC


Pvt Billitz's records indicate he enlisted March 17, 1914 and by the end of April he was in Vera Cruz. He bounced around the usual stops in the "Banana Wars" and arrived in France aboard the Henderson Aug 23 1917. He joined Co A (15th), 6th Machine Gun Battalion, as a replacement on October 23, 1918. (serial number #286441)
