2dLt VERNON BOURDETTE, USMC

Commanded the 13th Gun Crew at Quantico (see below). Served as Gunnery Sergeant in France until enrolled as 2dLt in the Marine Corps Reserve on July 14th, 1918, just prior to the Soissons campaign. Awarded Croix de Guerre. Listed in the battalion roster on the Armistice.
