Can You Help Identify Him?

These three photographs are all that Bob Fortelny knows about his father, a WWII Marine. His mother passed away in 1997 and left him no information about his father, not even his name ("Fortelny" is his step-father's name). He has no information about his father's unit, or any other aspect about his service. All he knows is that he served in WWII.
