"Compiled under the direction of the Joint Committee on printing by Charles W. Stewart, superintendent Library and Naval War Records." Numerous flaws of slight discoloration to covers. Edge between front cover & spine worn through along a quarter-inch strip near bottom of spine (see photo). Two tiny pencil-point sized dents in back cover. Edge-wear along bottom of covers. Corners rounded. Overall covers still mostly glossy, and gilt lettering still bright. Scans above highlight flaws more than they actually are, and make surface grainier and more uneven than they actually are. Actual covers are fine-grained and still mostly glossy. Book overall, while flawed, is still presentable.

Interior of book clean and unmarked. Binding tight. No markings by previous owners.
