I. GENERAL IMPRESSION OF THE DAY:

The division remained halted on the general line REISDORF sq. 73 - BEAUFORT sq. 94 - BERDORF sq 95. The enemy forces are occupying the eastern bank of the SAUER River. No acts of hostilities committed. The inhabitants of the occupied territory continue to show a friendly attitude towards our troops.

III. ENEMY MOVEMENT:

Yesterday from 8h. to 12h. continuous trains of vehicles leaving BOLLENDORF sq. 95. The road leading north up the valley from BOLLENDORF was chiefly used. At 12h. the last of the enemy left BOLLENDORF and the Guard on the bridge was removed by the enemy at the same hour.

IV. ENEMY MORALE:

Reports indicate the enemy morale good, discipline somewhat relaxed and in some units slight demoralization due to excessive indulgence in alcoholics.

~~The residents of the Prussian or northern part of BOLLENDORF held a celebration upon the departure of the enemy's troops from that town. Whether in joy or sorrow is a matter of doubt.

~~The people of the area occupied by this division continue a friendly attitude towards our troops.

(c) The Condition In Which The Occupied Territory Was Found:

At 10h. November 24th, approximately 50 Germans, accompanied by a 2 horse wagon, left WALLENDORF sq. 74, going eastward. They were singing and shouting and apparently not under control.
