November 27, 1918 to November 28, 1918.

I. GENERAL IMPRESSION OF THE DAY:
The division remained halted on the general line REISDORF sq. 73 -
BEAUFORT sq. 94 - BERDORF sq. 95. The indications point to the complete withdrawal of
the enemy's forces from our front. No acts of hostilities were committed. The
inhabitants of the occupied territory continue to show a friendly attitude towards our
troops.

II. ENEMY ORDER OF BATTLE:
Identifications:
~~174th Infantry and 23rd Artillery (Foot)
~~One company of the 23rd artillery and one company of the 174 Infantry were
identified as leaving BOLLENDORF yesterday. The troops left behind 2 kitchens
and 2 caissons. The destination of the troops was given by the inhabitants of the town
as PIEPBOSCH and located by them as laying about 25 kilometers north of
BOLLENDORF. (No such town can be located on the 1/200,000 scale map).

X. MISCELLANEOUS:
An absentee, Private of Marines, reported in after being absent since Nov. 15th,
and claims to have been to COBLENZ in search of his battalion. He visited the city of
Luxembourg and Treves on his way and travelled by train along with the German soldiers.
He reports good order in Treves and Coblenz and kindly treatment at the hands of the
Germans. In Treves, the government was in charge of the Socialists, the town was well
policed by Guards, wearing white bands on their arms. He roports very heavy trains of
soldiers going towards the frontier.
