The Department of Defense announced on July 3 that Cpl. Travis J. Bradachnall, 21, of Multnomah County, Ore. died on July 2 in Iraq. Bradachnall was killed in an explosion during a mine clearing operation near the city of Karbala.
Bradachnall was assigned to Combat Service Support Group 11, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
