Cpl. Clifton B. Mounce, 22, of Pontotoc, Miss., assigned to
the 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine
Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.,
attached to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion,
Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine
Expeditionary Force (Forward); killed July 14 when his
vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device while
he was conducting combat operations near Trebil, Iraq. Also
killed was Marine Cpl. Christopher D. Winchester.

assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd
Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp

Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division,
II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was killed July 14
