RECORDS OF THE LIVING OFFICERS OF THE U.S. NAVY AND MARINE CORPS, 1894, Compiled from Official Sources.

Lewis Randolph Hamersly,
Late Lieutenant, United States Marine Corps

(Philadelphia, L. R. Hamersly and Company, 1894). Fifth Edition, Revised, with Numerous Additions. Navy section runs from page 7-397. Marine Corps section runs from page 398-436. Index. 444 pages, with several pages of advertisments in rear of book.

FAIR CONDITION ONLY. Dark green cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Decorated end-pages. Both front and rear covers show water damage (rippled cloth) along bottom one-inch. Interior pages slightly rippled along bottom third, though there are no water stains. Covers also water spots, frayed corners and slight tears and chipping to head and foot of spine. Both hinges cracked; front flyleaf partially detached. Text is clean throughout, and binding basically sound, but book overall is somewhat frail and will need to be handled carefully if book is used for research. Binding is still flexible and book lies flat on table when open, so is easy to use for research.

Detailed service biographies are provided for each living Navy and Marine officer.
