Reinhold Sproesser, from Minneapolis, Minnesota (born in Germany). ~ Enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps on 6 July 1864. Honorably discharged on 6 July 1868 at Pensacola, Florida, with rank of Corporal. ~ Re-enlisted at Marine Barracks, Philadelphia, 8 April 1869. ~ Re-enlisted again at Marine Barracks, Philadelphia, 1 May 1873.
