NF/NF. Oversized hardcover, bound in dark brown leatherette with embossed gold gilt Marine Corps emblem on front cover. Slipcase of cloth-covered boards is in the colors of the Vietnam Service Ribbon. Original owner's name, "John Barrera", is stamped in gilt on the lower front cover. Full gilt to all page edges. A dated inscription from the author to Mr Barrera is on the front flyeaf. This same page has an embossed gilt sticker attached to the lower front cover which reads: "THE WARRIORS -- 1 of 100 -- CERTIFIED LIMITED EDITION. There is also a printed declaration at the bottom of the page, adjacent to the sticker, which reads: "This is number 12 of a limited first edition."

Published by "Vietnam Marine Publications", Lancaster, Texas, 1983. Heavily illustrated with maps and photographs, many of them full-page. Contents divided into four main sections:
